It was first time visiting the Nourse Theatre in San Francisco. I must have walked by it 100 times without realizing what was going inside. It took the Beastie Boys to wake me up. Add this to your list of historical decadent architecture in SF.

It ended up being 2 1/2 hours of hysterical, loosely-scripted stories of their career. Mostly the early days. Ad-Rock and Mike D. read chapters from their self-titled 590-page book, which was handed to everyone who had a ticket. Mix Master Mike handled the live soundtrack.

R.I.P. Yauch. You were missed.
